Artisans hand-tuft \u003ca href=\"\/collections\/wool-rugs\"\u003e100% New Zealand wool\u003c\/a\u003e into a cotton canvas backing, to a dense 4000 GSM, then carve every edge by hand.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eEach iris is built from several layered tones — plum shading into near-black at the base of the petal, crimson brightening at the edge, a fine white outline and a golden centre.
