Artisans hand-tuft \u003ca href=\"\/collections\/wool-rugs\"\u003e100% New Zealand wool\u003c\/a\u003e into a cotton canvas backing, to a dense 4000 GSM.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eA design made of thousands of small fragments is slow to tuft. Each one has to sit at the same angle as its neighbours with its own crisp edge, and the grid has to stay aligned across the whole circle for the aerial effect to hold.
