Rectangle

The rectangle is the size that does the work. It defines a seating area, runs the length of a dining table, anchors a bed, or fills an open-plan floor edge to edge — which is why it remains the shape most rooms are actually built around.

Every rectangular rug in this collection is hand tufted from 100% New Zealand wool on a cotton canvas backing, with a dense 3000 GSM cut pile and hand-carved colour edges. Wool is used for a reason: it is naturally springy, stain-resistant, flame-retardant and holds dye brilliantly, so the pile recovers from furniture and the colours stay clean for years.

Sizes run from 4x6 ft for bedsides and reading corners, through 8x10 ft — the standard living room size where the front legs of the sofa sit on the rug — up to 12x15 ft for large open floors. Designs span abstract, geometric, floral and traditional. Custom dimensions, bespoke colourways and trade orders are available on every piece.
