Traditional rugs carry the vocabulary that made Indian carpets famous — medallions, borders, palmettes and repeating field patterns, drawn from Persian and Mughal design and adapted to a hand-tufted construction.
Bhadohi, where every one of these rugs is made, has been India's carpet capital for centuries, and these designs are the reason. Each piece is hand tufted from 100% New Zealand wool on a cotton canvas backing, with a 3000 GSM cut pile and hand-carved detail that keeps borders and motifs sharp.
They work in formal living and dining rooms, panelled studies and hospitality interiors, and they sit surprisingly well in a modern room as a single traditional element against plain walls. Available in round and rectangular shapes across a full range of sizes, with custom dimensions, bespoke colourways and wholesale pricing available on request.
